Elixir Fine Tea

Howdy,

I wanted to share a little something with you. I had the delight of visiting Elixir Fine Tea House today along Kensington Road. Please don't confuse Elixir for Oolong Tea House. Elixir is owned by Chamber member Andrew Kang and Oolong watch out!

I cannot describe how much I loved the whole experience. My blind date and I decided to undertake his tea tasting experience.

It was like a wine tasting seminar except with teas and scrumptious genuine French pastries. Andrew warmly greeted us before taking us on an adventure through tea. He lightly seasoned our journey with tales of collector's teas, teapots worth thousands of dollars for their mystical ability to brew tea without any leaves, and lots more. Along the way we stopped to enjoy teas with hints of coconut, chocolate peppermint (my dates' favorite!), ginseng with a mysterious hint of honey, and others.

I generally have avoided anything but Orange Pekoe tea. Boy have I been missing out! Just watching the care that Andrew takes in making tea is a thing of beauty.

Thank you to Andrew for creating a fantastical experience in your shop. You need to at least double your prices on the tea tasting! It doesn't compare close to a grab-n'-go style coffee stop. What you are offering is a whole other experience worth well more than what I paid. You all better cruise on over to Elixir Fine Tea House before Andrew takes my advice on pricing!
