About Us

Elixir Fine Tea invites you to step out of the high speed, high tech world of incessant daily chores and take refuge in a haven of health and relaxation. Passing through our doors you will be transported into other worlds to explore through the many senses of tea.

Our attentive Tea Guides will expertly navigate you through a sampling of teas harmonized into Tea Tasting Journeys. You may find yourself in the Orient with Japanese greens or savouring the delicate sweetness of Silver Needle in the mountains of Fujian. Or perhaps a spicy warm Indian Chai will carry you away to the streets of Calcutta.

Your Tea Guide will share the traditions and origins of each tea you experience on your travels. If you prefer to explore on your own, your Tea Guide will ensure you have everything you need before you set off.

And there is no need to go hungry with the abundance of delectable treats.

You will return from your excursion refreshed and invigorated through the diversity of experiences tea has to offer. You’ve taken a moment for yourself, indulged in personal pampering and grateful for what things are. Mission

Presently Elixir Fine Tea is a retailer of premium loose leaf teas and teawares. Its founder, Andrew Kang has envisioned the creation of a tea community within which one can experience the tea lifestyle, share tea experiences, promote tea education and enjoyment. As well, this tea community will serve as a resource centre for health, relaxation and environment. Our mission is to search out tea suppliers and wholesalers that share our values.

We seek out suppliers that respect and promote the artisanal way of growing and processing tea. This includes direct sourcing or fair trade, organic, sustainability and green practices. Every tea has a unique flavour and style that reflects its origin, varietal, vintage and artisanal method of manufacture. By developing and maintaining long term relationships with selected suppliers, Elixir Fine Tea endeavours to link the leaf at origin to its destination - our customers.

Terms like direct and local sourcing, fair trade, organic, sustainable and green pratices are not just printed words. Elixir Fine Tea has implemented and supports these practises directly and through our suppliers.

Ecological Practices

Elixir Fine Tea has developed operation procedures to implement fair trade, direct sourcing, local sourcing, and organic practices. All of Elixir's used tea leaves are composted and used in local gardens.
